District lookup
On Cloud hosting, every district has its own address and a four character district code. Anyone who lands on the main Tidal PTC address instead of their district’s address can enter the code on the Find your district page and continue to their district’s login page. This page explains where to find the code and how the lookup works.
Who this is for
Section titled “Who this is for”District admins sharing the app with staff and families, and anyone who needs to find their district’s login page. This only applies to Cloud hosting; self-hosted installs have no district code.
Find your district code
Section titled “Find your district code”The code is shown at the bottom of the sidebar under District code for every signed-in user. Share it with staff and families along with your district’s address.
Codes are four letters or numbers, assigned when the district is created, and unique across all Cloud districts.
Look up a district
Section titled “Look up a district”- Go to the main Tidal PTC address, or to
/districton it. Any address that doesn’t belong to a district also sends you to this page. - On Find your district, type the code in District code. Case and surrounding spaces don’t matter.
- Select Continue. You are sent to your district’s login page.
If the code doesn’t match a district, the page shows “No district was found with that code.”
A district that isn’t set up yet
Section titled “A district that isn’t set up yet”If you reach a district’s address before its admin has finished setup, you see “This district is still being set up. Please contact your administrator.” The admin finishes setup with the district’s setup link.
